Seahorse Studios

What I can help with, and what I can't.

The short version is on the front page. This is the long one, so you can tell before booking whether a call is worth our time.

01What this is not

I can’t turn a one-shot game, or something “Model X” made autonomously in five hours, into a shippable product. No one can. Getting from that kind of prototype to a real release means someone has to understand the project, make decisions about how it should work, and take responsibility for the code underneath it. There is no shortcut around that work.

02Who I can help

You've built a game or a prototype with the help of AI. You’ve played it enough to know what your game is, and you’re still actively working on it yourself. You can open the project and make changes, even if slowly.

You could use some experienced direction around what to tackle next, how to organize the work, and how to keep a growing project moving.

03How I can help

This is not about fixing bug #183. This is about how you fix the next hundred, breaking down big features into manageable chunks, scoping what’s left, and running the project so it actually finishes.

My core competencies revolve around
* Project management : What do you do next ?
* Programming : How do you do it ?
* Design review : Where does the fun live ?
* AI tool chains : How to best use AI?

04Who I can’t help

You’re treating the AI as the developer rather than as a tool. You’re prompting until something works without really understanding what changed or what the project is becoming.

You don’t need to understand every line of code, but you do need to understand the project well enough to steer it. If what you really want is someone else to own the implementation, you need a contractor.

Additionally, if you mostly need help with Art or Audio I may not be the best resource.

05What you get

A verdict you can act on. Sometimes that’s “ship this; here’s the cut list.” Sometimes it’s “keep the game, but stop investing in this codebase.” I’ll tell you which.

Sound like your project? Bring what you've built.
